Loretta Joyce Flaum

Loretta Joyce (Baughman) Flaum, of Centerville, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the age of 87.

Loretta will be deeply missed by her daughter, Brenda Sebaali (Raymond); granddaughter, Nada Nicole Patton (Christopher), grandson, Joey Sebaali (Briana); great grandchildren, Aidan, Benjamin, Eliana, and Natalie Patton; her sister, Eva Kay Jones; Sisters-in-law, Betty Hamilton, and Joan Flaum; as well as many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Flaum; her parents, Martha and Russell Baughman; her brother, Jimmy Baughman and his wife, Shelby; and her brothers-in-law, Charles Flaum II, and Roger Hamilton.

Loretta was born September 8, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Patterson Cooperative High School in 1953. She and her husband, George, started and ran a home improvement company for 30 years. In their 49 trips around the sun as husband and wife, they enjoyed traveling the world, spending time in nature, fishing in Ontario, Canada, and spending their winters in Florida. They were active members of their Kingdom Hall and were beloved by their community. Like the giraffes she adored, Loretta had a kind and gentle heart.

Family and friends are invited to remember Loretta at Newcomer Funeral Home - Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459) on Saturday, November 5, 2022. A visitation will be held from 11 am - 12 pm, followed by a memorial service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Dayton, in Loretta's memory.
