Loretta M. Cox, age 75 of Vandalia, passed away January 11, 2012. She was born January 10, 1937 in Knox County, KY to the late Arthur Fox and Bessie Helton. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by two brothers: Gorman and Ralph Helton.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Cox; son, Steven Cox; daughter, Andrea (Ronnie) Hall; grandson, Brandon Cox; siblings: Drucilla Williams, Marcella Earls, Pat Ross, Arvilla Miller, E.C. Helton, Gary Helton, Danny Helton and Reed Helton; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. Christopher Parish, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia. Rev. Francis Keferl, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
