Loretta Sue Akers, age 71, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Elmer Parker and Vergie Botts.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Tim Satterfield and Lori Satterfield; brother, Wayne Parker; and nephew, Steve Sexton.
Loretta is survived by her loving daughter, Tina (Dwayne) Couch; grandchildren, Jess, Justin, Tyler, Jeremy and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Rose, Kage, Jess and Zoey; sister, Janice Ward; niece, Candy; and her beloved dog, Willie; along with many other family and friends.
She retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service. Loretta loved to cook, especially for her family during the holidays. She enjoyed listening Brooks and Dunn and her "spirits". Loretta adored her sister, Janice and would love traveling to Florida to visit her.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
