Lorene Leta Morrison, age 97, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. She was born on December 23, 1925 in Albany, KY to the late Lillian and Charlie Brown.
Lorene enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking during holiday events. In her spare time, she loved sewing, gardening and playing checkers with members of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Morrison; her son, David Paugh and her 5 siblings, J.D. Brown, Gayron Brown, Kendrick Brown, Vance Brown and Glenda Lowhorn.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Morrison; her daughter-in-law, Ingrid Paugh; her 4 grandchildren, Melissa (Rodney) Warner, David (Lisa) Paugh, Rachel Paugh and Christopher Paugh; her 5 great-grandchildren, Justin, Kayli, Lucas, Madison and Aiden and her 2 siblings, Wayne (Evie Nell) Brown and Norma (Bobby) Wells.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 9:30am to 10:30am with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.

Lorene will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park.
