Loren Ashley Mallinger

Loren Ashley Mallinger, age 27 of Fort Walton Beach, FL previously of Dayton, OH passed away tragically on November 12, 2018. Loren was born in Augsburg, Germany on February 15, 1991 to proud and loving parents, Donald Mallinger and Dana Long. Loren graduated from Wayne High School in 2009. She had a contagious smile and would light up a room with her laugh and warm presence. Loren graduated from Sinclair Community College after earning her degree in Criminal Justice.

She loved to be around others and never knew a stranger. This served her well as she worked diligently as a server both in Ohio and in Florida. Loren was the life of the party and loved to sing karaoke and spend time with her friends and family. She loved to spend time on the beach and felt peace by the Gulf. Loren was a caring, loving, and passionate, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Loren was preceded in death by grandparents, Marvin Napier and Alberta Davidson.

Loren's memory will be cherished by mother and step-father, Dana and John Long; father, Don (Dana Saxton) Mallinger; brothers, Brandon (Leah Dauter) Mallinger and Austin Long; sister, Haili Long; best friend and partner, Derrick Diddle; grandparents, Gma Debbie Mallinger and Donald Mallinger; aunts and uncles, Carla and Jason Ferris, Leslie and Jerry Timler, and Marvin and Cherie Napier; loyal canine companions, Heartliegh and Casey; and a multitude of dear friends, cousins, and relatives.

A Celebration of Loren's life will take place on Sunday, November 18 at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel. A visitation will take place for 3 hours prior (4pm-7pm).

Following the service, Loren's loved ones would like to invite everyone to continue to celebrate her life by joining them at Little York Tavern and have a drink or two in her honor.

Graveside service will take place on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:30pm. Those who wish to follow Loren to the cemetery in procession are encouraged to meet at the funeral home by 11:50am.
