Lorelle Meredith

Meredith, Lorelle, age 95, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Lorelle was born March 4, 1917 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Howard & Ella (Phillips) Grimsley. Lorelle was a long time member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dayton.

Lorelle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Judith (Eddie) Jones; grandchildren: Laura (Terry), Lisa (Anthony) & Aimee (Brendan); great grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer, Dylan, Conner, Caitlyn & Elle; step sons: James (Tracy) Meredith, Dale (Debbie) Meredith; step daughter: Sue Ann (Dan) Barker; siblings: James Grimsley & Daphine Huddleston; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Lawrence D. Meredith and six brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
