WALTERS, Lonnie D. age 76 passed away January 14, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hager and Callie Walters; brothers, Lloyd "Cotton", Wilgus "Blackie", and Loren; sisters, Jean and Helen.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Kenny Walters, Julie (John) Kane, Johnny Walters, and Jody Walters-Moeder; grandchildren, Tabatha Walters, Megan (Nathan) Stanfield, Erica Moeder, Jessica Kane, Ethan Moeder, Matthew Kane, Jordan Walters, Jesse Walters, Nick Walters, Eric Walters, and Justin Wooddell; sister, Carol Lee Rice; numerous family members, nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Brandi.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore RD.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either The Humane Society of Greater Dayton or to The American Cancer Society.
