Loleta Riggsby age 87 passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Belle Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Wrigley, Kentucky to the late James Harlen and Delpha Jane (Hitch) Ratliff, on February 12, 1926.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Jesse Riggsby; along with her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Loleta was a faith driven person, who raised her daughters in the Pentecostal Apostolic Faith. She was the ever constant care taker of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Judith (& James) Hackworth, Joan (& James) Burns, and Jill (& Russell) Baughn; grandchildren: Robbin (& James) Banzhoff, Shannon (& Darin) Pritt, Jason (& Samantha) Hackworth, and Jennifer (& Shannon) Tyree; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Nathanael, Ryan, Ethan, Brittney, Tori, Anthony, Cody, Noah and Lainey.
The family wishes to thank the wonderfully kind and caring staff at Belle Manor Nursing Home for taking such excellent care of Mom. She loved you like you were part of the family.
Visitation will be held 12 Noon – 2 PM, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH.
A graveside service will be held immediately following at the Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.
If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to the Belle Manor Nursing Home Activities Department.
