Lola Mae McCoy
Age 75, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, July 28, 2006, at her home. Lola was born March 24, 1931 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Albert Lee & Cora E. (Perkins) Siler.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Bessie McCoy; daughter, Anna Marie Barnhill; son, Rickey Lee Barnhill; sister, Dorothy Siler; and by her brother, Rev. Clarence Siler.
Lola is survived by her husband of the past 26 years, Jimmy McCoy; daughters, June & Glenn Mahaffy of Huber Heights, Ruby C. Morris of Vandalia, Lisa Murphy of Huber Heights, Tammy McCoy (Wilson), Debbie & G. C. Couch of Hazard, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Monica Barnhill of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sons, Harold Barnhill Jr. (Ella) of Huber Heights, Eddy & Nora Barnhill of Riverside; brother, Ronnie & Trish Siler of Pineknot, Kentucky; sister, Barbara Sue Siler of Noblesville, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Wilma Siler of Vandalia, Margaret (Guy), Margie (Jerry), Lucille, Pauline, Shirley (Kenny), and Helen & Stan. Lola was a second mother to grandchildren, Ein, Amelia & Billy with a total of 18 loving grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Hoyt Caddell, Jr. of Corbin, Kentucky will officiate. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Dayton who made keeping their mother at home possible.
