Lola Grace Harker

Lola Bowman Harker, age 94 of Enon, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 19, 2021. She was born October 9, 1926 in Franklin Township, Ohio daughter of the late Frank and Alice Bowman.

Lola was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a farmers daughter raised on a Dairy Farm, driving a Dairy Truck, milking the cows and driving the tractor doing everyday chores. Lola was a longtime member at First Baptist Church of Fairborn. She loved to sing and enjoyed singing with her sisters and the church choir. Lola was a volunteer for Red Cross Gray Ladies at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Fredrick Harker; daughter, Beverly (Rex)Van Pelt; sisters, Anna Emma, and Elaine; and brother, Lloyd.

Lola is survived by her children, Ann (David) Broyles, Dan Harker, Jeffrey (Nancy) Harker, and Mark Harker; grandchildren, Heidi, Mary Ann, Leslie, Colletta, Kenny, Esther Kay, Ari, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Erica, Dominick, Ada, Bram, Keldan, Areya, Cameron, Tyler, Agatha, and Dahlia; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Graveside service to be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2pm at Enon Cemetery 6013 Dayton-Springfield Road, Enon, Ohio 45323.
