Lois Evelyn Nash-Way, 96, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022. Loving mother of Peggy (Lloyd) Matson, Diana (Mike) Worley and Terry (Kristina) Way, cherished grandmother of Dan (Pia) Worley, Holiday (Andrew) Cole, Nicholas Way, Steven (Ricki) Matson, Kirsten (Joe) Peoples, Kendra Way, Keegan (Erin) Way, Kinzie Way, Kanaan Way and Kardyn Way, beloved great grandmother of Chase Grant, Isaac Grant, Liberty Grant, Makayla Cole and Reagan Morrow and adored sister of Reba Stoltz and Glen (Linda) Terry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Clint and Neta Terry, children's father Gordon Way, spouse Marvin Nash, daughter Vonette Way, grandson Corey Matson and six brothers and sisters.
Lois grew up in Overton County, TN then moved to Akron, Ohio where she met and married Gordon Way. They moved to Dayton, OH where they raised their family. Lois was a faithful follower of Jesus and she attended Victory Church in Fairborn OH. Lois was known as the rock of the family. She was always there to support her family. She was loved by all and will be very missed.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at 10:00 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery. Donations can be made in her memory to Victory Church of Fairborn.
