WRIGHT, Lois Marie, age 73, of Dayton, passed away May 11, 2013. She was born November 1, 1939 in Wells Springs, Tennessee. Lois was a member of Oasis Church of God in Dayton, Ohio (formerly Philadelphia Drive Church of God). She served in many areas of church work throughout her life. In her younger years she was an active Sunday school teacher ranging from nursery age all the way up to teaching adult classes. She was awarded Mother of the Year at Philadelphia Church of God. Lois enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and was an accomplished seamstress. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Robert Wright; children, Subrena (Tom) Schaefer, Jeannie (Steve) Jones, Kathy (Brad) Maddex, Chuck (Connie) Wright and Teresa (Paul) Davidson; grandchildren, Sarah Shepherd, Trisha Davidson, Emily Hughes, John Schaefer, Robbie Edwards and Michael Wallace; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Wyatt Asher, Beau, Lily and Carson Shepherd, Duke Shepherd and Maxwell Hughes; siblings, Frances Brantley, Norma Myers, Trudy DeArmond, Ronnie Rogers and Mary Ruth Mills; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Mary Rogers; brother, Frank Rogers. Donations may be made to the Lois Wright Memorial Fund at any Universal One Credit Union.
