Lois Mae Keithley
May 8, 1925 — April 6, 2014
Lois Mae Keithley, age 88, of Kettering, OH passed away on Sunday April 6, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Howard Keithley; parents, Frederick and Virginia Mae Reckeweg; and brother, Frederick Reckeweg.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn (James) Browning, Linda (Daniel) Bechtol, Stephen (Daleen) Keithley, and Donna (Michael) Huffman; grandchildren, Paul (Hilary), Brian, Douglas (Kelly), Jeffrey (Nikki), Jenny (Kevin), and JD; and great granddaughter, Emaline; brother, Richard (Marybeth) Reckeweg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was born and raised in Washington D.C. before moving to Ohio with her husband and children. She loved singing with her husband in the choirs of the various parishes that he served. She was also a member of the Clintonaires Women's Choir.
Lois was a loving selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.
A very special thanks to the staffs of The Suites of Walnut Creek and Hospice of Dayton.
Visitation is Monday April 14, 2014 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 410 E. Pease Drive, West Carrollton, OH 45449.
Pastor Charles Beckett is officiating.
Burial will follow at Ellerton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the church.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
