Lois J. Lowe, age 79 of Beavercreek Ohio. Formerly of Ironton, Ohio. Born on October 5,1940 to the late Arville and Gladys Kimbler. She passed away peacefully on December 16 surrounded by loved ones after a lengthy battle with cancer and dementia. She worked at Pitney Bowes for thirty years. She was married to Johnnie Lowe for fifty-three years. Although her name was Lois, she was Nanny to all who knew her. She loved her family, especially her grandsons, her great- grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren, beyond measure.She looked forward to the days she would be spending with her grandsons and great-grandchildren, whether it be watching her grandson Ayden, taking her great-granddaughter Allison to whichever store she had chosen for her visit, or taking both of them on a trip to Troy to see LeeAnn and Kenslee and taking the family to lunch. She loved to cook and have her entire family over to reap the benefits of her delicious meals. Her smile was contagious. She was an absolute angel and a blessing to all who knew her.
She is survived by five loving siblings, four sisters and one brother, sister in law Juanita Kimbler, Ortha Collins of Marion, Pauline and Fred Moore of Xenia, Chris and Franny Kimbler of Franklin Furnace, Connie and Tom Eicher of Ironton, Valerie and Tim Collins of Ironton. She leaves behind three grandsons, Richard Stonerock (fiancée Jacklyn Combs), David Baker, and Josh and Ashlee Lowe, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Allison Stonerock, Ayden Stonerock, Anthony and Morgan Mussetter, Darren Morgan (Shelby Jordan), LeeAnn Lowe, Kenslee Lowe, Skyler Adkins, Haylee Adkins, Ryker Morgan, Dalton Holcomb, Avery Mussetter, Mason Mussetter, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by both her parents Arville and Gladys Kimbler, former husband Johnnie J. Lowe, their son Kenneth Lowe and daughter Wanda Foust, brother Wallace and Elise Kimbler, brother Arville Kimbler Jr., brother Hayes Kimbler, sister Christine Pennywitt and her cat Miss Kitty who she rescued from her doorstep and took in as her own to love.
The family would first like to thank Hospice of Dayton and also the staff at the Preserve of Beavercreek for their continued loving care. She left a mark on all of their hearts for sure.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel. A service will follow at 4:00pm. Burial will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Buckeye Cemetery in Ironton, Ohio.
