WILLIAMS, Lois Jean (Caldwell), age 68, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 after a courageous struggle with cancer. She will be greatly missed for her loving spirit, sense of humor, and loyalty to family and friends. Lois was born in Bell County, KY in 1940. Survivors include children, Trish (Steve) Taylor of Miami Township, Susan (Brian) Hee of San Francisco, and Dr. Jerry Williams of New York City; siblings, Kenneth (Gertrude) Caldwell, Elson Caldwell, Debbie (Chip) Pennybacker, Willard (Christine) Caldwell, and Shirlene (Ray) Knuckles; grandchildren, Alicia (Rodney) Collins, Jena Hee, Seth Taylor, and Sara Taylor; great-grandchildren, Austin and expected baby Collins; nieces, Evelyn (Steve) Brannen and Peggy (John) Roesser; nephews, Mike Sellers, Ken (Julie), Perry (Kelly), David (Trish), Nelson, Elinza, Robert, Trevor, and Garrett Caldwell, as well as other family and friends. Predeceased by husband, David W. Williams; parents, Charlie and Susie Caldwell; sister, Ruby Jean Caldwell, and brother, Charles Caldwell, Jr., all of KY. Lois was a member of Bellbrook Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was family and friends. Lois enjoyed many hobbies and interests including her beloved poodle, Holly Bell, fishing on lakes, the mountains, lighthouses, gardening, crocheting, cooking, music, reading, and bowling. Family and friends are invited to a remembrance service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Dayton Masonic Center, 525 W. Riverview Ave., Dayton. A celebration of Lois' life will immediately follow at the Masonic Center. Her ashes will be placed with her mother and brother at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. The family would like to thank many loving caregivers at Bethany Village and Hospice of Dayton.
