Lois Jean Lobo, our beloved sister, age 54, of Englewood, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Stillwater Center in Clayton, Ohio. She was born October 17, 1955 in Dayton to the late David and Charlotte "Jane" Lobo.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her nephew, Daniel Jackson. Left to mourn Lois are her sisters: Ruth Tipton, Mary Reese and Shirley (David) Pugh; devoted family and caregivers: niece, Melissa and her husband, Matthew and son, Mason Jennings; nephew, Michael and his wife, Cortney and sons, Jayden and Kale Tipton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Allen, Anita and Christopher (Stephanie); great niece, Lauren; aunt, Helen Seale; uncle, Harry (Jackie) Casto; aunt, Mary (J.R.) Smith; lots of "favorite" cousins and friends; and a very special friend and the families lifeline, Francis Cottrell. Longtime member of North Dayton Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, 5 – 7 P.M.
