Logan Boone

On May 29, 2016 my precious son, Logan Erik Boone broke free. He was born September 24, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended elementary school in Kansas City and graduated high school from Miamisburg. Although Logan's physical presence is greatly missed by his Maja Tina, brother & best friend Dillon, his G-ma Claudette and his fur baby Bella, his spiritual presence will remain with us at every moment.

Carpe Diem quam minimum credula postero. Sieze the day putting as little as possible trust in the future. This is not to say ignore the future, but to do as much as one can now, in this moment, for tomorrow is never promised. As we all know Logan lived by this to his fullest. Dillon & I know in our deepest of hearts that he wants us all to Carpe Diem.

Everyone that knew Logan found him to be a happy, gentle giant. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the type of person that was kind and teasing all at the same time. He loved to scare & play practical jokes & loved to have a good time & live life to it's fullest. Fun could have been his middle name & if you were around, he was determined that you would have fun too.

He is survived by stepfather Kevin Knisley, father Daniel Boone, Step Sister Katie Hopkins (Ryan), Step Brother Lee Knisley; Grandparents Claudette & Mark Wheeler, James & Freida Dearth, Don & Shelia Boone; Aunt Joie (David) Titcombe, Aunt Michelle (Dave) Durkin; Cousins David, Shawn, Ronica, Anthony, Jimmy, Danielle, & Andrew. He is also survived by so many special very friends. Logan was preceded in death by Grandma Pocket & close friends Taylor & Christian.

A celebration of Logan's life will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 3 to 5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. We welcome anyone that wishes to speak or share stories of your Logan memories. Afterwards, we ask you to join us to share the love & laughter that surrounded Logan for family & friends to be held at Wood Hills Apartments Clubhouse located 1000 Clubhouse Dr. off of Alex Rd. West Carrollton, OH 45449.
