Lloyd Dale Spurlock

Lloyd Dale Spurlock, 76, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2022. Lloyd was born in New Marion, Indiana, to the late Lloyd W. and Georgia Spurlock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Larry Powers; sister-in-law Valerie Powers; and nieces Kristen and Hannah Spurlock.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Elaine Spurlock; brothers Randy (Vera) Spurlock, Bob (Judy) Boston; Nephew John (Christy); niece Sarah (Nathan Abel) and their daughters Morgan, Aubrey, and Cassidy; nephews Mark (Rafaela) and daughters Liz and Adrianna; niece Rachel (Charlie Hebley); niece Rebekah (John Neubecker) and son Elliot; nephew Jason (Angie) and children; nephew Ethan (Casey) and sons Ben, Andy, and Henry, Alex (Mckenzie), Isabella, and Jake; nephew Jordan (Lisa); nephew Josh (Trish) and children Elise, Anna, Luke, Mark, and Will.

Dale is also survived by brother-in-law Gary Powers; nieces Jennifer (Shawn) Leibold and family, Erica (Matt) Pollock and family, and Jackie Powers; brother-in-law James Melvin (Bo) Powers and daughters Amber (Angel) Branham and Holly (Ryan) Warrells; sister-in-law Judy (John) Powers and son Danny (Janice) Bond.

Dale graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1964 and went on to obtain his bachelor's degree in education from University of Tennessee. He retired after a 30 year career from Baker Junior High in Fairborn. Dale loved to cards, especially Euchre. He was a member of the Fairborn Moose and Fairborn VFW post 6861. Dale was a beloved husband and uncle and will be missed by all who knew him.

Gravesides services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 E Lytle 5 Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458.
