Lloyd Ray Fisher, 79, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023. Loving father of Chris (Melissa) Fisher and Tina (Jason) Follas and cherished grandfather of Emma, Brad, Lexi, Madison and Evan.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years Pam Fisher, granddaughter Mackenzie Rose Follas and sister Arlene Fisher.
Lloyd was born on April 25, 1943 in Pennsylvania. He met his wife, Pam, while he was attending Ball State University. They were married in December of 1971 and had their two children, Chris and Tina. He spent his career as a teacher, coach and Boy Scout leader. He had a knack of working with children, especially the one's that had some issues in traditional education and found a way to inspire them by giving them the skills and pathways to succeed. He touched many lives and will be missed by all.
Later in life Lloyd and Pam enjoyed riding on their Gold Wing motorcycle and enjoyed the fellowship and friends that they met along the way.
His favorite time was spent with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them grow and taking part in all of the activities that they were involved in.
Public visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Friday January 27, 2023 at 10:00 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.
