Lloyd Waner Cooper

Lloyd Waner Cooper, age 82, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 in the comfort of his home. He was born on November 18, 1940 in Zalma, MO to the late Comfort and Hadley Cooper.
Lloyd graduated from Arkansas State University. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and civil service for 29 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. During his active service, he was a Minuteman Missileer in Minot, North Dakota. He loved his six dogs, Darby, Tucker, Baxter, Casey, Bentley, Abby and his John Deere Tractors.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Shannon (Angela)Cooper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Linda Cooper; his daughters, Kelly (Greg) Haskell and Kristi Cooper; his sisters, Eloise (Don) Reeves, Sharon Jackson and his brother, Terry Cooper.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424. Lloyd will be laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery.
