Lissa Karen Webster

July 29, 1960 — September 21, 2021

Lissa Karen Webster (Rucker) of Miami Township passed away from complications of COVID-19 in the early morning hours of September 21, 2021 at Kettering Hospital. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone at Kettering Hospital involved in her care.

Lissa was born July 29th 1960 in Dayton, she spent her childhood between Dayton, Ohio and Richmond, Kentucky.
Lissa is preceded in death by her mother Joanne Rison and Father Elza Rucker, along with brothers Daniel Rucker and Mark Rison. Lissa is survived by sons Matthew (Nichole) Webster of West Carrollton, and Michael (Rachel) Webster of Centerville. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life; Mabel, Thatcher, Dorothy, Caden, Easton and Eva. She is also survived by brother John Rucker of Dayton, and sister Julia Bodeman of Michigan, as well as 4 beloved nieces and nephews and numerous family and friends. Lissa was a dedicated member of Hearken Unto the King Ministries where she spent time guiding young women in service, as well as caring for those unwell or in need of a caring shoulder. Lissa spent her life caring for those around her both in life, and her career. She loved nothing more than her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Lissa left us with an empty space at the table, but with a heart full of memories and love.
