Lisa Marie Krohe

Lisa Marie Krohe, age 57 of Dayton, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 4, 1967 at Allegeny Hospital.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Carol Krohe; sister Diane Prass; niece Taylor (Vince) Piccinini; two nephews, Nick Prass and Alec Prass; significant other Bob Moats; and her beloved fur babies Alien, Dot, B.K. and Fluffy. She also is survived by numerous family and friends with special mention to Steve Steineman, Reesie Jaynes and Deb Hurley.

Lisa was....Lisa. She had a heart the size of the sun. She lived and breathed to care and love others including every creature known to man. She was always taking care of strays and other wildlife that she encountered in her lifetime. There is definitely a special place in heaven for her surrounded by her family and her beloved pets that left this life before her, especially Sammi and Max.

Her family and friends hope those who would like to honor her will join us for an informal gathering to celebrate her life held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Park, 1226 S. Elm Street, Shelter #2 which is located near the basketball courts. 

We will share pictures, stories, Ron's Pizza (her favorite), and some of her favorite music courtesy of Steve Steineman. All are welcome to stop by and share their stories and special times they shared while she was with us on this part of her journey. She would have wanted something simple and light-hearted and that is what we are giving her. Her ashes will be spread by family at places decided at a later date.

She is missed more than words could possibly convey. Her kindness, beauty, compassion, selflessness, and incredible sense of humor was like no other. She was Lisa and she was loved.
