Linette M. Ogle, age 64 of Riverside, Ohio passed away after a brave hard fought battle with cancer on February 22, 2022. She was born December 16, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of Manfred Jahnke and Marlene Vescovi.
Linette was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Linette proudly served in the US Army active duty as well as Reserves. After her service she attended Ohio University for Criminal Justice where she received her Bachelors Degree.
After graduation she became the first female Juvenile Probation officer appointed in Muskegon County. Linette retired from Greene County Adult Probation Dept after several dedicated years of service. After retirement Linette then volunteered for PAL which was a low cost spay and neuter program. She was an avid animal advocate in which she loved to be involved with all animals in numerous animal programs to help save homeless and abused pet. Linette is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Linette was preceded in death by her father, Manfred Jahnke; and nephew, Paul Jahnke.
Linette is survived by her son, Christopher (Sabrina) Ogle; granddaughters, Kayla, Haley, and Hanna; mother, Marlene Vescovi; sister, Loretta Jahnke; brothers, Doug Jahnke and Manfred "Martin" (Michelle) Jahnke; nieces, Jasmine and Brenna; nephews, Peyton, Lucas, and Deven; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 11am - 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Memorial Service will begin at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery Dayton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Linette's honor to Purrfect Additions Cat Rescue (5015 Rainier Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45432).
