Linda Swaisgood

Linda Swaisgood, age 62, passed away August 31, 2012, in Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by Fred Swaisgood, her husband of 40 years; two children, Brett (Therese) and Craig (Sarah); and five grandchildren. Lin was a Licensed Independent Social Worker who served her community for over 35 years, as well as a volunteer in her community. Lin was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and the Ohio State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree. She will be remembered by the community for her contributions to the public good, by her friends for her compassion and light-heartedness, and by her family for her strength and guidance. She will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes available at the funeral home.
