Linda Lee Sturgeon

Linda L. Sturgeon, age 75 of Xenia, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 26, 2024. She was born April 24, 1949 in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo (Mae) Coppess and Mary (Joe) Brown. 

Linda was a loving wife of 51 years, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted wife to a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country. Linda retired after 35 years from Walmart, where she was a dedicated employee. She loved to bowl, travel, spend time with her family, and take long drives in the country.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Terry L. Sturgeon and daughter, Kimberly Dell.

Linda is survived by her; children, Dianna Alliod, Allen (Alyssa) Sturgeon, and Holli Hammonds; son-in-law, Michael Dell; grandchildren, Amanda Craig, Aaron Veatch, Emily Tyler, Brent Miller, Jonah Warren, Tristen Sturgeon, Dylan Porter, Samantha Porter, and Aidan Sturgeon; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Craig, Izabell Craig, Alice Veatch, Lydia Veatch, A'mylah Miller, Evelyn Veatch, Ellianna Tyler, Myles Porter, Harper Hanes, Whyatt Porter, and Michael Tyler; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral home 93380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Celebration of Life will follow the service at the CI Beaver Hall (3696 Highmont Street, Beavercreek, OH 45432).
