Linda Jo Stillwell, age 64, went to be with The Lord Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 5:08 pm/et in her home. She was born August 4, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry and June Stillwell.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Heather Taylor and her fiance', Darrin Steele; siblings, Doug (Nancy) Stillwell and Diane (Steve) Feverston, four nieces and nephews Steven, David, Tim and Kelsey. She is also survived by beloved cats, numerous family members, friends, and co-workers.
Linda Jo was diagnosed with stage iv metastatic breast cancer just 54 days before when she collapsed at her home. She grew up in Dayton, graduated from Patterson Co-op High School, had an Associates Degree in Business from Sinclair Community College, and worked at St. Elizabeth and Good Samaritan Hospitals as the pharmacy technician and buyer for over 44 years.
There were just too many things she loved to list! She was very adamant about worshiping and serving our Lord, she loved cats - taking care of and rescuing them, she would give anything to be anywhere on the beach, loved hiking at our family cabin in WV, and growing her tomatoes and peppers in her backyard garden. She was a vivacious, passionate soul who would help anyone, anytime, for any reason. I am her only child and am honored to be...she was my support, my rock, and my best friend.
My Mom would have wanted us to grieve and then celebrate her legacy and use it for good rather than dwell on the loss of an amazing woman, mother, aunt, volunteer, co-worker, and friend. So please join us to honor and send off one of the most vibrant of Heaven's angels.
A private memorial service and celebration will be held outdoors in Brookville, Ohio.
***Due to the covid-19 pandemic, we have to limit the number of attendees to 50. I am asking that everyone RSVP to the Facebook event, wear a face covering (when necessary), use hand sanitizer or wash hands frequently, and observe social distancing so that everyone is safe! Thank you
