Linda Shaw

Linda Shaw, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday May 8, 2011. She was born to the late James Gray and Carol Gray. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristie Lynn; and her in-laws, Emerson and Virginia Shaw.

In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Shaw; three children, Heather Marie (Blaine) Markland, Johnny Lee II (Cynthia) Shaw, David Brian (Kristina) Shaw; seven grandchildren, Casey, Alex, Johnny Lee III, Joey, Brian, Kenzie, and Lillian; one brother, James Gray; three sisters, Diana Leedy, Lydia Wells, and Paula Hollbrook; and a host of other family members and good friends.

Linda was a member of Bethel Christian Church.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Bethel Christian Church, 327 South Smithville Rd, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior from11:00 am- 1:00 pm. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday May 11, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastors Dan Brown, Joe Horner and Blaine Markland officiating. Burial to follow services at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
