Linda C. Sargent

Linda Carol Sargent, age 74, of Dayton, passed away December 10, 2020. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 18, 1946, the daughter of the late Burke and Mallie Fields.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Herman Fields.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of over 53 years, Fred Sargent; her dear son, Mark (Lois) Sargent; grandchildren, Mallie Sargent and Nathan Berry; siblings, Wanda (Archie) Webb, Jack (Vera) Fields, Larry Fields and Sherry Fields; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Linda retired from Mahle Manufacturing, where she was employed for over 15 years. She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, before her health declined. Linda had a heart of gold and devoted her life not only to her family but also her church family. The time she spent with her grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 2221 Harshman Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 12:00pm with Pastor Bradley Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, OH.
