Linda L. Pryor

Linda L. Pryor, age 75, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023.
She was born July 22, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Dolores (Elliott) Hinch. Linda graduated from Patterson-Coop, Class of 1965. She started her career at Rike's downtown and then moved on to the Accounts Receivable department at Duriron Corp., retiring after 21 years of service. On July 14, 1973 she married David A. Pryor, her husband of 50 years.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother John C. Hinch; and her sister Jackie Hinch Black.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David A. Pryor; her two sons, David V. Pryor, and William J. (Malia) Pryor; her five grandchildren, Cameron, David Jr., Elin, Carter, and Brady. Linda is also survived by her nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Linda's grandchildren were the light of her life, she enjoyed attending their sporting events whenever she could and spending as much time with them as possible.
She was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, and loved an occasional family outing to the casino.
Linda was caring and loving, and open to all others. Everyone was welcome in her home. She will always be remembered for her good heart, her caring nature and her love for her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Linda's memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Linda will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
