Linda Pollock

January 30, 1949 — April 6, 2025

Dayton

Linda Lou Pollock, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Dayton, surrounded by her loving family and with her husband and daughter holding her hand. Born on January 30, 1949, in Blue Creek, Ohio Linda captured hearts throughout her life with her kind, generous nature and her infectious smile.

Educated at Kiser High School, Linda dedicated her career to serving her community. She worked as a contract specialist at W.P.A.F.B., served as a clerk for the Dayton Police Department, and lent her voice and skills as a dispatcher for the State Highway Patrol. Her commitment to her work was just a reflection of her passion for helping others.

Linda loved music and cherished the moments spent singing at church. She found joy in traveling, spending time at the ocean, and in reading devotion and Bible verses, which spoke to her nurturing spirit. She was known as the life of family gatherings, remembered not just for her laughter but for the warmth she brought to every occasion. Whether spending precious moments with her husband, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, her devotion to family was unparalleled.

Linda leaves behind a loving husband of 44 years, Charles Pollock "Charlie", along with her cherished daughter Lisa (Brian) Hall and sons David Pollock and Gregory Pollock. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Bob (Alberta) Estes, Pat (Bill) Benysh, and Margie (Patrick) Geron, in addition to her cherished three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

Linda is reunited in spirit with her departed siblings, Louise (Elbert) Allen, Maurine (Vernon) Nichols, and Loretta Estes. They too, remember her vibrant spirit and the joy she spread during her time with them.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Linda's special caregivers—Monica, Brandy, Luwana, and Clara—who showed her love and kindness in her final days. Linda Lou Pollock will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, and an unwavering love for her family that will endure through the generations.
