Linda Ann Perkins

Linda A. Perkins, age 77, of Xenia, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Oak Creek Terrace in Kettering, Ohio. She was born August 14, 1947, and was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd R. Pickering; her mother, Doris (McCoy) Pickering; her father, Russell A. Pickering; and her husband, Michael E. Perkins.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Perkins of Xenia; one son and daughter-in-law, Brett (Jeannine) Perkins of Centerville; two grandchildren, Zachary (Mae) Perkins of Bellbrook; Ashley (Jon) Ocampo of Kettering; great-grandson Akari Ocampo; and sister, Mary Jane Thwaites of Lakeland, Florida.

Linda worked as a Reading Aide for Greenview Schools, worked 25 years as the Office Manager of Singer’s of Xenia and worked 10 years for the Greene County Auditor.

Memorial Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek) on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00am.

The family will receive friends and family from 10:00am until 11:00am. The interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville, OH. A traditional procession is not possible due to the long route to the cemetery.

The family wishes to thank all staff at Oak Creek Terrace for providing excellent care for Linda in her final days.
