Linda L. Miller, age 70 of Dayton, passed away June 25, 2018 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 12, 1947 in LaFollette, TN to the late Curtis and Wilma Jean White. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Snow Narvais; brother, Gene White; great-grandson, John Jayden Jones IV and her nephew, Josh White.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 38 years, Tracy L. Miller, Jr.; children, Cynthia (Matthias) McGriff, Curt ( LaMika Hammett) Sims, Steven (Michelle Sanders) Sims, Tracy (Cloria) Miller IV and Angel Miller; 30 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances Dees of GA, Wayne (Janet) White, Curtis (Anita) White, Mark White, Robin (Jimmy Hunley) White, Elaina (Billy) Owens and Betty Ann Young all from TN; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Linda attended LaFollette High School and received her degree in Travel and Tourism from RET's Tech in 1985. She was a member of Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a part of the Senior Choir and Secretary of Pastor's Aid for 20 years. Linda worked for over 20 years at Joseph Shaw Dry Cleaners as a clothes finisher. She had such a love and passion for her family.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church, 1404 Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45408. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 3 at the church. Interment will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery.
