Linda McNees, age 57, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2017.
She was born in Dayton on December 15, 1959 to Dee & Gerry Young.
She was preceded in death by her father, father & mother-in law, Owen & Marcella McNees; brothers, Mike (Renee) and Jim Young; niece, Sasha Casper; grandparents, Hilda & Gilbert Hill, and sister-in-law Sherry Land.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Rick McNees; mother, Gerry Young; children, "Ricky the Rooster" (Andrea) McNees, Jr., Jennifer "Jeniss the Menace" (Andrew Leonard) McNees, "Tricky Nicky" (Randi Goble) McNees and "Jake the Snake" (Megan Welker) McNees; grandchildren, Kyle, Peyton, Lainey, Briana, Nathan and Natalie; sister, Kathy (Bob) Linville; brothers, Bill (Jackie) Young and Bob (Tina) Young, sister-in-law Barb Young; numerous extended family and friends.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who loved spending time with family and attending all her children's sporting events. She loved nothing more than being a stay at home mother raising her four children. She will be forever missed, but her long, hard battle is finally over.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11am at Lower Miami Cemetery, where Linda will be laid to rest (Rt. 4 South of Dayton in Jefferson Township).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's memory to cancer research.
