Linda Mae Plymale
March 14, 1942 — June 2, 2022
Linda Mae Plymale, age 80, of New Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Linda was born in Rochester, NY on March 14, 1942 to the late Hiram & Edith Colwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Plymale and In-laws, Albert and Ida Plymail.
Linda is survived by her children, Suzanne Crabtrey and Eric Plymale; grandchildren, Scottie, Anna and Christopher; great-grandsons, Tristen and Chanlar; brothers, Christopher (Gail) Colwell, Tom Colwell and Stan (Dee Dee) Colwell; sister-in-laws, Katie Miller and Erma Bowman; and many other relatives and friends.
Linda graduated from John Marshall H.S. in Rochester, NY in 1960. Linda and Wilbur were married in 1963. She graduated from the College at Brockport, State University of New York in 1964. Later that year they came to Dayton, and she taught first grade in the Dayton Public School System. She retired in 1998 after many wonderful years of teaching. Linda enjoyed sitting and watching the wildlife from the window at her home.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at the Newcomer North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton OH 45424. The service will follow at 1:30 pm.
