Linda Lewis

LEWIS, Linda (nee Forlines), age 59, of Putnam Hall, FL and formerly of Dayton, passed away Wed., Feb. 9, 2005 at Hospice of the Lakes in Palatka, FL. Linda was born to Don & Pauline Forlines on Apr. 17, 1945. She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline. Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Archie R. Lewis; father Don R. Forlines of Dayton; 2 daughters Tina L. Dowdy (Henry) and Monica Lewis and granddaughters Sarah Danes and Kelly Dowdy all of FL; 2 sisters Judy Carson (Richard) and Paula Slagel (Bill Myers) both of Dayton; several nieces and nephews and best friend Cheryl Allen (Dennis) of Miamisburg. She graduated Belmont High School class of 1965 and also attended Wright State Univ. She was a devoted and loving Air Force wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral services 1 P.M., Mon., Feb. 14, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rev. Lamar Ferrell officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 4 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Lindas memory.
