Linda Lee Mcgee

Linda Lee McGee (Bitcas Oda), age 49, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 10, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She graduated from Vandalia Butler High School class of 1978. Linda was a Budget Analyst at the Air Force Institute of Technology WPAFB. Linda's selfless devotion to others was inspiring to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Jo. Linda is survived by her husband of 10 years, Shawn McGee; son, Christopher Oda; step-daughter, Lindy (Luke) DePouw; step-son, Ryan McGee; step-grandson, Mason DePouw; parents, Gabriel and JoAnn Bitcas; sisters, Jane (Bill) Holderman and Joyce (Brian) Howard; and many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church (122 W. National Rd. Vandalia, OH 45377). The service will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Linda's memory.
