Linda L Combs

Linda L. Combs, age 79 of Dayton, passed away August 8, 2016. She was born in Dayton and resided there her whole life. Linda enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She worked for NCR and Monsanto during her career. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Clark, and companion and partner, Tony Thompson.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Cynthia Parks and Archie "Pete" Brooks, Jr.; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, William Clark; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel at 11am; the family will greet friends and loved ones for one hour prior (10am-11am). Burial to follow at Beavertown Cemetery.
