Linda J. Rhoads, age 76, of Dayton, surrounded by her family went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Linda was born in Corbin, KY on January 15, 1948 to the late Woodrow Clyde & Mary Jane Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and John; sister, Helen; nephews, Johnny and Richard "Bubby"; and great-niece, Katie.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald C. Rhoads; children, Kimberly (Larry) Holtevert, Mary (Mark) Lucjak, Donna "Bug" Rhoads, and Donald "Chuck" (Melissa) Rhoads, Jr.; brother, Robert (Dianne) Martin; sister, Betty Martin; grandchildren, Ellen, Andy, Branden (Ashley), Bryen, Brent, Jonas, Larry II (Missy) and Stacy; several great-grandchildren; beloved grand-doggie, Cheyenne; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was a loving, caring, beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother and granny. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton, Ohio Valley Hospice, Legacy Kettering and to Bruce and Gloria for their loving care.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 9:30-10:30am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The service will follow at 10:30am. Linda will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
