Linda I. Arnett, age 77 of Troy, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024. She was born March 5, 1947 in Greenville, Ohio daughter of the late Carl and Norma Paulus.

Linda was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed planting flowers, playing cards, animals, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She loved listening to country music, going on car rides football, and fishing with her husband David. She was the best mother and gave the best big bear hugs. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, David Arnett; daughter, Lora Arnett; sister, Debbie Keith; brother, Steve Paulus; and her beloved dog, Buddy.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Susan) Arnett, Lisa (Rick) Shira, Kristy Tanner, Beverly (Ramon) Reyes, and Julie (Keith) Murphy; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Chris VanWeelden and Ginger (Carl) Morehart; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 5:30pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made in Lindas' honor to Hospice of Miami County.
