Linda Marie Hawley

Linda M. (Begley) Hawley, 64, of Centerville, OH died on December 22, 2016 surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born to Mary Bonita (Bonnie) and James (Jim) Begley on March 25, 1952, Linda was raised in Akron, OH. She dedicated her working career to serving others and was employed as a special education aide in Centerville City Schools and later as a bookkeeper for several local clients and for Zig Zag Gallery. A devoted mother and grandmother, Linda lived life to its fullest and will no doubt be remembered for her love for her family, but also her passion for music and dancing and her enthusiasm for fashion.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Hawley, her parents Bonnie and Jim Begley, and her brother Robert Begley. She is survived by her daughter, Shonagh O'Leary-Moore and her husband Terry of Apex, N.C.; son Ryan O'Leary of Ft. Loramie, Ohio; grandchildren Nathan Moore, Liam O'Leary, and Kylie Kuck, sister Janet (Begley) Harp (Andy) of Beavercreek, Ohio; brother Tom Begley (Mary) of Akron, Ohio; nieces and nephews Matthew Begley, Benjamin Begley, Nick Begley, Christopher Hillsamer (Breanna Wilson), Cole Hillsamer (Barb Fansler), Matt Harp (Emily), Adam Harp (Andrea), Samantha (Harp) McCoy (Mike), Ben Harp (Eric Washburn), and Lucas Harp; grandnieces Adelynn Hillsamer and Harper McCoy; grandnephew Levi Harp and fiancé Gary Marcum of Dayton, Ohio.

Linda's family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Trinity Community in Beavercreek and Crossroads Hospice who were involved in her care during her final months. Their compassion and support ensured Linda's comfort and peace in her final days.

Family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Newcomer Funeral Home at 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432 with memorial service in celebration of her life immediately following at 5pm.
