Linda Lou Greeno, 78, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on August 6th, 2019, of complications due to chronic heart conditions.
Linda was born in Phillipsburg, Ohio on January 19th, 1941 to Roy and Mary Honeyman. She graduated from Randolph High School in 1959 and maintained a lifelong love of learning.
Linda worked in Editing for the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Foreign Technology Division for over 40 years, and upon retirement became a member of the National Air Intelligence Command Alumni Association. She enjoyed watching golf and tennis tournaments, knitting, reading, and gardening. She was also actively involved in the Salem Church of the Brethren for over 50 years.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Loveland-Mullins, son-in-law, Steve Mullins, and her granddaughter, Erin Loveland; her brother-in-law, Lavon Miller, his two children, Kim and Todd, and his granddaughters Kasey and Jami; the Allen Good and David Good families; and numerous other kith and kin.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mary Honeyman, as well as her two sisters, Carol Miller and Janice Good.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (to be put towards the purchase of a headstone and eventual interment in the church/family cemetery) may be given to Lisa Loveland-Mullins at the time of the memorial service.
The family of Linda Lou Greeno wishes to thank Nurse Bonnie and Kettering Home Care, Stonespring Transitional Care, and all of the staff and volunteers at the The Landings of Huber Heights assisted living facility.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 1-2 pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road Dayton, OH. A memorial service will begin at 2 pm.
