Linda Furlong

Linda L. Furlong, age 74 of Miamisburg, passed away December 27, 2014. She was born November 19, 1940 in McKee, KY to the late Estel and Della Spurlock. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Twila Shannon; grandson, Jason Enz; sister, Pina Fay Spurlock; and father and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Neva Furlong.

Linda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Larry Furlong; son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Kris McIntosh; daughter, Lisa Enz; grandchildren: Ryan McIntosh, Katie (Billy) McClure and Danielle Shannon; great grandchildren: Gavin, Bentley and Beckett; sisters: Kay (Rowland) Eldridge and Patsy (Paul) Margraff; brothers: Bobby Spurlock, Mendel (Irene) Spurlock, Gary (Dottie) Spurlock and Pat (Cheryl) Spurlock; brother-in-law, Kent (Mary) Furlong; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Linda retired from General Motors after 25 years of service. She was very active at Blessed Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and camping, but most of all she loved her family, especially spoiling her grandkids.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Kettering, 3151 Annabelle Drive, Kettering, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 am. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg. Contributions may be made in Linda's memory to Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Kettering, Mission Fund.
