Linda Lee Cooper, age 62 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was born June 29, 1958 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan the daughter of Robert and Beverly.
Linda grew up in Michigan. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to Denver, Colorado to attend college. While living in Denver, she met Alvin Cooper. She joined Alvin in England as he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. They then moved to Dayton where they were united in marriage and had their daughter, Chelsea. While living in Dayton, Linda worked at DP&L and pursued a teaching career.
Linda enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, scuba diving, skiing, and her dogs. She was also skilled in cooking and it brought comfort to her to cook and entertain for others. She mostly enjoyed being a mother to Chelsea.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sinift; granddaughter, Skylar Cooper; grandparents, Jessica and Frank Nemeth, Ardeth and Web Sinift.
Linda will be missed by her loving daughter, Chelsea Cooper; mother, Beverly (Jerry) Kedzierski; brother, Bobby Sinift; former husband and best friend, Alvin Cooper; Brittany Hasty who was like a daughter to her; aunts and uncles, Carol Keeler, Joan Hall, Bobby Nemeth, David Nemeth, and Frank Nemeth; cousins; and her two dogs, Booger and Bandit.
The Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linda's memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton or towards any animal rescue.
