Linda Sue Compton, age 67 of Xenia, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her home. She was born July 9, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Warren and Barbara Kearney.
The loving beautiful Linda Compton that took every family and friend in as they were her own. Such a beautiful soul, feisty she can be, but that was out of love. Never turned her back on anyone no matter what.
Linda was a very hard worker did everything she could for her children. She retired from General Motors after 24 years. She was a member of Independent Gospel Fellowship. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her children, Christopher Clayton Compton and Jamie Leigh Compton; sister-in-law, Diane Kearney.
Linda is survived by her children, Aaron (Zondra) Compton and Dora Jean Compton; grandchildren, Dynasti, Journey, Jenica; siblings, Warren (Becky) Kearney, Phil Kearney, Lisa Flores and Lois Gwin; a loving best friend, John Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation at kidney.org in Linda's memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
