Linda C. Hobbs

Hobbs, Linda Charlene (Grimes) age 64, went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2014, with her family at her side. Linda was born in Dayton, OH on January 11, 1950 to the late Bob and Joann Grimes. She attended Stebbins High School class of 1969 and worked at Burger King on Linden Ave as the manager for many years.

Linda dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her compassion for others, her zest for life and her loving spirit.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Donnie and her brother, Bobby.

She is survived by her children, Kim Hobbs, Laura (Frank) Edwards and Kelli (Stan) Schmidt and their father, Donald Hobbs; her grandchildren, Michael, Amberly, Meghan, Christopher, Adisson and Mitchel; great-grandchildren, Demyx, Rylinn and Michael Jr.; her sister, Sandra (Richard) Grimes-Cole; her brother, Terry Grimes and many loving extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pelotonia for the James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University.
