Linda S. Boone

Linda S. Boone, age 77, of Dayton passed away on October 26, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Bill and Cathie Downing. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her infant sister, Juanita and brother, George Downing.

Linda is survived by her children, Daniel (Sandy) Boone, Rebecca Payne, Donna (Gary) Riffe; 7 siblings; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and her pet bird, Smoky; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Linda graduated in 1964 from Colonel White High School. She was employed for a number of years at Frigidaire Authorized Service, Adaptive Technologies, JD Wearly Custom Homebuilder and West Carrollton City Schools. Linda attended Moraine City First Church of God for many years. She enjoyed going to church and making special memories while traveling all across the United States. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and fishing. Linda will be missed daily and forever loved by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 N Springboro Pike. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the church. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
