Lillian D. Vann

Lillian D. Vann, age 90, of Dayton, passed away June 12, 2023. She was born January 23, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Anastasius "Tom" and Lillian Bailey Helentjaris. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Milas Vann; son, George Vann; daughter, Janet Stillman; grandson, Ryan Geswein; brothers: Luverne, Leo and George Helentjaris; and sister, Virge Storost.

Lillian is survived by her children: Donna Vann, LuAnn (Mike) Lawson, Thomas (Judy) Vann, Darlene (Jeff) Geswein, Robert (Diane) Vann and Kathleen Vann; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; many other extended family members and friends.

Lillian held a variety of jobs over her lifespan. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. A graveside service will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive at 1:30 pm.
