Lillian Grace Shepherd

Lillian Grace Shepherd, age 86, of Englewood, went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2022. Lillian was born April 18, 1936 in Hazel Green, KY to the late Joshua and Lillie Adkins. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband of nearly 67 years, Hancell Shepherd; children: Vickie Noble-Profitt (Lawrence) and Rick Shepherd (Debbie); grandchildren: Denny Shepherd (Sarah), Derick Shepherd (Rebecca), Anthony Shepherd (Brittany), Jamison Noble, Justin Noble and Brittany Schaefer (Jonathan); great-grandchildren: Beau, Lilly, Carson, Duke, Caden, Parker, Lucy, Bailey, Ashton, Liam, Adelynn, Kysen, Brody, Oliver, Lian, Ethan and Cohen; brothers: Roger Adkins and Rev. Joe Adkins; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lillian graduated from Hazel Green Academy, Hazel Green, KY. She was employed with and retired from Elder Beerman after 55 years of service. She was a wonderful and faithful wife and the greatest mother, who loved her family with all of her heart. Lillian was nominated for Mother of the Year. She was a devout Christian and came to know the Lord through the Methodist Church. Lillian served the Lord faithfully and left a deep legacy.
