Lillian Goodwin

Lillian Goodwin, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 19, 1931 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky the daughter of Teddy and Gypsie Ramey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Edward Goodwin, son, Joseph Michael Goodwin and numerous brothers and sisters.

Lillian enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, listening to and singing country music. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would provide wisdom and guidance to whomever was willing to listen.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Vicki R. Goodwin, Robin A. (Allan) Smith, Glorina L. Hutchins, Janet E. (Andrew) Winchek; son, Mark E. (Jill) Goodwin; brother John Patton Ramey; sister, Gaylyne (Richard) Wells; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on January 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be January 4, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a donation in Lillian's name may be made to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH.

Interment will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 1:00 pm at Dayton National VA Cemetery.
