WILCOX, Lillian Anne, of Annapolis, MD, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton OH, after a courageous five-year journey battling Multiple Myeloma. She was born June 13, 1959 in Richwood, WV, to Jose (Joe) T. and Marlene (Cutlip) Sandoval. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose T. Sandoval; children, Misty Dawn Smith and Sean Amaro Wilcox; maternal grandparents, Lillian and Raymond Cutlip of Cowen WV; paternal grandmother, Angela Esparza of Dodge City KS. Anne worked as a Customer Service Representative for Stanford and Ris Paper companies. She also worked as travel agent and Law Phone Customer Service Representative for Encore Marketing Company. She had a passion for animals (especially cats and dolphins) and volunteered at and supported SISCA (The Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals). She was a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis. Anne's greatest gifts to her sons were to love them unconditionally; teach them to love the Lord with all their hearts, to daily live and rest in His Amazing Grace, and the importance of both Church and earthly families. Anne was a warm, compassionate, and fun loving woman who gave generously of herself to others. She loved her family; the ocean; collecting sea shells; laughing and time with her friends; playing Scrabble; putting jigsaw puzzles together; eating lobster, snow crabs, and anything chocolate. She enjoyed writing poetry and had several poems published. She is survived by her husband, DeWitt Wilcox; two sons, Alexander "Alex" Robinson of Annapolis, MD, and Christopher "Chris" Robinson of Fort Drum, NY; mother and step-father, Marlene and Jim Borgstrom of Centerville, OH; step-brother Tom (Ana) Borgstrom and their daughter Celia; step-sister Barb (Zach) Taylor and their daughters Mia and Sadie; and step-sister Karen (Bill) Parker; several very special cousins and best friend Dorothy Brannan. A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Cowen, WV, with Rev James "Oz" Gray officiating. A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 PM, July 10, 2010 at Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, MD, with Pastor Bob Borger officiating. A reception will be held at the Church immediately after the service.
